I began practicing yoga at nineteen in an ashram in the Himalayas. That early training in breath, movement, and lived philosophy became the foundation for a lifelong practice.

During my time as a nurse at the Royal Brompton Hospital, yoga helped me stay grounded and effective under pressure. Having reached the pinnacle of my career in nursing I later retrained as a yoga teacher and body therapist so I could bring these tools into my work with others

I have been teaching yoga for eighteen years. My training includes the British Wheel of Yoga, Birthlight, and the British School of Yoga, with further study in women’s health, somatic practice, trauma-informed movement, anatomy, and physiology.

Intuitive Yoga – My Approach

Classes focus on clear movement, breath awareness, functional strength, grounding, and rest.
I draw on traditional yoga philosophy, somatic psychology, and current neuroscience to support nervous system regulation and practical embodied awareness.

The aim is simplicity, clarity, and sustainability – developing a practice that supports everyday life and supports the body to organise, settle, and function with more ease.
