Supports and can help to prepare the whole body for birth

Pregnancy massage provides essential support and relaxation, helping the body adapt to significant changes. This therapy alleviates common pregnancy discomforts such as aches, pains, insomnia, swollen ankles, and sciatic pain, contributing to overall well-being.

Research suggests that reducing stress through massage can benefit both the expectant mother and her baby by releasing calming hormones like oxytocin and prolactin. The treatment is customized to the body’s evolving needs throughout pregnancy, employing positions and techniques that offer maximum comfort and efficacy at each stage.

Techniques such as stretches, myofascial release, and lymphatic drainage are used to ease tension and swelling. Yogic breathing and relaxation methods are also incorporated to promote a deep sense of well-being.

Treatment recommendation:
60/75/90 minutes

Recommended sessions are 60, 75, or 90 minutes, tailored to personal preferences. Options include gentle abdominal massage to soothe stretched skin and relax tight ligaments, enhancing the connection between the mother and her baby. Alternatively, treatments can focus on the physiological changes during pregnancy, supporting a holistic approach to well-being.

I have developed a range of therapeutic, hand-blended, organic (where possible) aromatherapy oil blends. These are warmed and used during your treatment to maximise relaxation and provide a nurturing experience.
